Fleet Information


The American Eagle fleet consists of four types of modern jets Bombardier CRJ 700, Embraer 135, Embraer 140 and Embraer 145 as well as two types of jet-powered turboprop aircraft Super ATR and the SAAB 340B.
American Eagle's aircraft feature many of the amenities found on American Airlines jetliners, including overhead storage for carry-on bags, reclining seats, and inflight service. A highly trained flight attendant is on every American Eagle flight for customer service and safety.
Our new state-of-the-art CRJ 700 jet offers a smooth, quiet ride and features rich leather seating with adjustable headrests in a two-by-two seating arrangement. Designed to American Eagle's exact specifications, these jets offer air travel on longer flights and more heavily traveled routes between key cities in the American Eagle network. Bombardier CRJ 700
Like the CRJ 700, our sophisticated, state-of-the-art Embraer jets set the standard for speed, customer comfort and reliability in air travel. Embraer jets offer the same rich leather seating and adjustable headrests, but with a one-by-two seating arrangement. The Embraer jet serves as the foundation to American Eagle service in Dallas/Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, New York JFK and LaGuardia, Raleigh Durham and throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
